Hi guys, I've got an 00' civic with a blown engine. And a 1993 d16z6 that runs great from a 93' si hatchback. I was wondering if it's possible to swap the working d16 into the 00' civic? Anyone know of a place I might find more info, or what works and doesn't work(engine mounts, drive shafts, wiring, etc)?
Thanks for any help guys.

Thanks for the info! So I should just be able to bolt on the tranny, manifolds, and electronics from the old engine, and the block will bolt right onto the stock mounts?
The z6 is actually from my brother's car(body gone, 134k) that he offered to sell me for $200. Still had to make sure this was an easy swap before pulling it all apart on him, but I'm really interested in salvaging the 00'.
Thanks!
Jeff

well the z6 is an obd1 motor and the y8 is a obd2 motor so some of he electronics will be different. if your trying to use the y8 tranny you need to find out if the z6 is cable or hydralic, the y8 should be hydralic
