hey guys. brand new member here due to a issue i've been having with my lil bros civic. there seems to be a break squealing noise coming from the driver's side a majority of the time when the brake's are applied and also going up hill. at first i thought it was maybe just brake pads but idk why it would be making that noise going up hill. is there a issue besides maybe break pads?

also just throwing this out there. there are no noises if i'm on the highway or local streets at a 35 mph speed. if any1 has any ideas or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. car has 169,000 also....

Re: brakes making noise (very vague but check the thread for info)
I recently had a similar problem with my civic. I ordered new pads and rotors, and actually while doing the install I found that the steering arm that connects to the hubs, actuall when turned to the lock had pushed the brake dust shield into the back side of the rotor, I simply bent it back straight and my noise stopped. I replaced everything anyways but I know that was it, because I could see where it was rubbing.
