I just got a '99 civic LX with automatic trans and it is completely stock. I noticed that after the engine is warm it idles around 500-600 RPM when stopped at a red light. Is this normal? When I first drove it I thought it seemed too low and thought it was going to stall. I just want to make sure. Thanks.

my last car was doing that also and what it probably is, is your car just needs a tune up. Generally it will idle around 800-900RPM. Go to the DIY Chat and look up forgotten tune up mods by Gearbox. That should help it run better. it did mine.
