short ram or cold air?

im lookin to put an intake on my 98 honda civic dx . is it better to go with the short ram intake or cold air intake? and what brand?

It depends on where you live. If you have a lot of rain in your area, Go with a short ram intake. You can find plenty of short ram/cold air intakes on ebay. Any other questions, email me at aalqaq2@yahoo.com

Go short, AEM is one of the better ones for about 100 bucks. Don't buy a crap one off ebay.

About the only real con to shorts is the heat soak you could experience...

short ram gives better mpg in the summer, cause warmer air means ecu injects less fuel in the engine. cold air gives a bit more power but less mpg.
