on the driver side i have been hearing a popping lately. i thought it was a bad axle. i had a mechanic look at it and said it was fine. when making sharp turns i lose all power in it. like i'm driving in neural. and randomly when i'm drivin in a straight line it does the same but it always goes away after like 45 seconds. and when braking it down shifts hard. its a 99 civic ex with a 97 civic ex. d16y8 engine. transmission was rebuilt a year ago. its a automatic. anyone know what this is?

just checked my transmission fluid. it was out. headed to the store to get fluid and a funnel. hope this is the problem.

okay went to the honda dealer. missed em by 20 minutes went to autozone and got some fluid. put it in. it helped so far. tommmorrow im gonn hopefully flush it and fill with honda atf
