Hi all,

The power windows in my 99 civic ex stopped working. I checked the 40amp under the hood fuse box and the 20Amps on the inside. The moonroof/power window relay 7.5 amp is ok, too. The moonroof works fine. No other electrical problems. Can anyone help me?

Nothing happens when you use the master switch and the other switches?

If that is the case, might be a bad master switch. Also, I forgot the name of the part but in the drivers door there is a box that can go bad, I believe it can knock out all the windows.

Yes, nothing happens on the master or each individual switches.

Anyone have any experience with this problem? Should I get a salvaged master power switch?

There is a controller box in the door itself as well. Get a repair manual, and there is a test procedure for the master switch to determine if it is bad. I would go that route before just replacing parts.
