2000 Honda Civic Si
It only has a 48,000 miles on it. I paid $3000 for it and had to put $300 into it for body work parts and paint. So not bad.
Now that it looks Pretty I want it to run like a champ too.
I am going to put a turbo in it sooner or later, Next year or two, but 1st I want to get some power for now. I have an exhausts (crappy) and Intake (okish). I was thinking of going with (intake manifolds and throttle Bodies) or (a better exhausts and Headers)
If I go with the 1st, manifold etc, then I will complete that part with my intake and it will cost less.
But the other one I will get more power right?
Any other Ideas?
Thanks a ton

Do you have a reliable theft deterrent system for your EM1?

Re: 2000 Honda Civic Si
Yeah I have a alarm on it. It is set up so that if I am in a certain range, like in my house, and it goes off, then it will light up vibrate and make a sound. Pretty sweat imo. I made it so they can't cut the battery to kill the battery and it is almost imposable to open my hood cause I have it out of the way to open it. And I park hella close to my garage so they can't fit between it can my car :P
So yeah....
So yeah....
Re: 2000 Honda Civic Si
i'm glad montana people aren't smart enough to hotwire a car where i live lol otherwise i'm sure my 99 si would be long gone hahaha but either way man, you can't go wrong...just get your exhaust and intake done and you'll feel a lil bit of a difference. personally i'd make sure my can can get rid of the exhaust before trying to get more air in...thats just me tho

Re: 2000 Honda Civic Si
get a good pager alarm, and do a few mods to make it harder to steal. disable power door lock switches, fuel pump kill, ignition kill, hide the hood release, etc.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one having these damn issues with people stealing my car. I used to have a 93 DX, black, nice wheels, aftermarket taillights, tinted windows and clear corners...they thought it was something special when it was actually a 175,000 mile, automatic, POS...they stole that and stripped it. Then, just two weeks ago somebody tried to take my new(er) car. 1998 Honda Civic LX,4 Door, 5speed. This thing is downright ugly and that's why I got it so it wouldn't get stolen. Hell it's red, with a black hood and black bumper, 205,000+ miles, noisy lifters, etc. etc. They got scared away before they got in it and stole it. But, I will never buy a Si around my area...never ever. It WILL get stolen, and they will trash it. Heck, a friend of mine had his 06 Si broken into and they tried to steal it, but the dumb-asses forgot about a fancy little system we know as "Immobilizer". Good luck with your Si, it looks great, and I really hope nobody messes with it.
