2k civic ildeing weird?

2k civic ex coupe manually.

When i come to a stop the idle is at a little over 1k then after a minute it drops to normal. Is this normal ?

idle should be around 700 rpms +/-100 rpms without load. or 650 with load. clean out the throttle body and idle air sensors, then put it all back and do the ecu reset and idle learn. should fix it.

Thanks for the advice, i am not to good with cars but i looked up how to clean the throttle body and did that. still the same problem. I will try an clean the idle air sensors tomorrow and let you know.

cool. you prolly wont have to clean it again for a long time, if ever. usually happens early during the first few years when the engine is breaking in and everything gets messy.
