vtec cutting off? HELP

ok the problem i have is when im accelerating away around corners my vtec seems to be cutting out. also does this when i continue powering away with straight wheels after the bend
engine is a d15z6uk (d16z6 us)

anyone else experienced this? or should i be saving for some new bits?

checked the oil level (was 'very' low) filled it up and away she goes, problem solved

yeah vtec burns oil on any honda. so just keep an eye on the level if you do alot of high rpm driving.

your vtec relies on the oil pressure you should have 50 psi by three grand
