Thinkin of convertin my 97 1.4i Civic's engine with that of a 1.6 Sohc vtec and im lookin for advice. I understand that the Dohc vtec is much quicker but I hear it is a difficult job swappin than the Sohc engine. I also hear however that it may not be worth my time and effort changing to the single cam one because there is not a sufficient difference in power. Any ideas? I'm only 18 too so insurance is a problem!! Do you think there is enough of a power difference between the 1.4 and 1.6Sohc to start swappin?? Would it be worth my while if I got my hands on an induction kit, exhaust system and spoon brain??
