Swap Question

I know you will all be pissed to have to answer this, but since it does cost a bit of bank and takes alot of work id like to be sure before i undertake this. I have a 98 ex auto and i want to swap it to manual since my tranny is taking a ****. A guy i work with has a 94 manual (dx i think) that blew up and he isnt going to work with it. So my questions are:

1. Can i use this tranny/clutch setup?

2. Is it going to be more difficult/bad tranny for this engine setup?

3. Will i still have to find an ecu for a 98 manual?

It could save me a **** ton of money if i can use his car for parts, since he doesnt care what happens to it. I realize this is like the billionth question on swap on this forum, but i search all over the web and they said all dseries to all dseries work, but i just want to be SURE. Thx all.
