Hey all. i am looking to put a chip on my 98 ex. i have some minor mods to the engine like a new intake manifold and cold air intake. I am wondering what is a good reliable chip that i can put on it that will give me a little more power and a better engine performance.

If all you've done is make minor mods then I don't recommend chipping your ECU.

new cams and pistons and rods are on the way in. i know what brands were good for those i just dont know about the ecu to much

If you're installing something like a stage 2 cam and high compression pistons then you should consider a chipped ODB1 ECU and run one of the programable aftermarket EMS systems like Hondata, Crom, Neptune, ECtune, etc. They all are very good so it might be hard to chose. The most important thing is to get it programmed properly on a dyno by an experienced tuner so many people recommend finding a good local tuner and find out which of these systems they are good at using.
