Help,help,help!!!!!

I have a 2000 2 door civic, that will not start sometimes, seems like it only does it when its raining, i have sent it to my local honda dealer they have replaced,(spark plugs, coil, ecm, ecm relay, crank sensor) and it still does it, it will drive just fine then it will not start with no indication before. The honda shop is baffeled they have put many hours in it and have not charged me hardly at all. any ideas?????

Does it turn over when it doesn't start?

One important thing to check is a ground wire on the thermostat housing. If this doesn't have a clean tight connection then you will have starting problems.

hmm...thats interesting ill have the shop check that out, it does turn over when it doesn't start, what about the coolent temp sensor??

What about the coolant temp sensor? Actually there are 3 of them.

In order for the motor to run it needs fuel and spark. So when it doesn't start you should try and determine which of those you're not getting.

the problem was a bad cooant temp sensor. we replaced the two for the ecm and now it works great.
