its your car, of course its worth it to mod it to make it personal, do whatever you like. just keep in mind that its a single cam and there isnt to much power so think about do you want show or go.

Re: Is it a wise to add performance mods to automatic HX?

you could change your headlights to jdm, lower the car put a nice pair of like 15 or 16 inch wheels, i dont recomend anything bigger then that on that year car. umm tint the windows theres a million things to do. if you wanted more speed (Go) id start with a swap to 5 speed and a new motor or keep the single cam but def get rid of that trans i hate the CVT. then you could go intake header exhaust i could go on forever. these cars are like little hobby grade remote control cars, there are a million parts to make it as custom as you would like. you just gonna have to look around at other peoples cars and decide what you like from there, have fun thats the best part of owning a honda besides the reliability. good luck and post up some pictures of what you are up to.

Re: Is it a wise to add performance mods to automatic HX?

I woulnt reccommend a tranny swap, my last car was a HX I added headers and intake etc. Just for nice sound mostly because there wasn't much to work with performance-wise. I've been told the mounts on the engine/tranny on the HX are completely different from the rest of the EK chassis civics and it's a hassle(xpensive) hassle to swap. Just drop it meng, slap some Rota,s on it, CTR headlights fogs, etc. Pm me I'll send u pics of mine for motivation
