Re: suggestions?

A B20B from http://www.hmotorsonline.com/ the motor is $549 + shipping. I have one in my car with a VTEC head on it and it is nice. B16 or B18C5 is a good swap too.

It all depends on what your end goals for the car are. Remember swaps rarely ever go as planned and will always cost you more than you think they should.

For example: When my shop finally got the motor together with the head and ECU and running they were pulling it up to the dyno and the valve in cylinder 3 dropped into the motor. This was totally my bad for not having the head work done ahead of time. So, 1 new B20 piston + ring set, 1 new B16A3 head, 1 machine shop payment and extra labor later, it runs great.

Be prepared for the unexpected and have some cushion in your swap budget. I found that you don't know what you don't know going into it and stuff always comes up.

Also, find a shop you trust and have them do all of it.

I would recommend staying in the B family because K swaps cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
