estimated HP??
yea so my boy just ordered stuff for his 97 hatch...a B16A2, AEM V2 cai, skunk2 exhaust, UR pulleys, hi flow cat, fidanza flywheel...yeah all that stuff... and i was wondering of anyone knew around how much estimated WHP he'll have???

well, under new SAE rules, not really..... and they dyno somewhere around 135WHP..... I clearly stated WHP..... I kind of got the idea that you were talking crank HP. Original poster asked for WHP as well.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!yea so my boy just ordered stuff for his 97 hatch...a B16A2, AEM V2 cai, skunk2 exhaust, UR pulleys, Test pipe, fidanza flywheel...yeah all that stuff... and i was wondering of anyone knew around how much estimated WHP he'll have........so anyway, he is gettin the head redone, PnP and cams, springs and retainers and reflashed ECU...WHERE will he be around now????
We throw numbers cause he wants an "estimated" number. =P
My friend went to get his car fixed and got an "estimate" of $1700 but the ending price came out to over 6 grand =P

• JIC Bullet 505 exhaust

I cant wait. Im getting an EK hatchback this weekend so ive been looking into old b series **** again. Im done with this junk slow em2 i hate it. Dont get me wrong it looks sweet but i need a car i can drop a b series into. Your friend shouldve got the B16B. its a monster. But with the motor your friends getting he can use all parts from type r's

b16a is the best for turbo, if you wanna go all motor get the b18 or the h22
proven fact you get more hp from turbo b16a than a b18c
proven fact you get more hp from turbo b16a than a b18c

6K for 170hp - really 145-155hp- ? Holy cow! Dude I love civics as much of the next guy but that is steep. Put an old or rebuilt integra motor in it and add big air intake. It'll save you money. Next find a good set of eibach springs and shocks and do that. That'll keep you running for awhile - trust me. Add a chip if you want to adjust hp a little.
