Busted Gauge Needles

So yeah I wanted to get blue gauge clusters like gearbox and some others did on the 7th gen. I tried it on mine and almost done. I'll write a DIY once I'm done. Anyway when I took the needles off I busted both the gas and temp needles. Well I need to figure out where I can get new ones without going through the dealer. I don't really care about if they are the best or whatever and I can go without the needles for a while but being OCD it will both me. I saw some gauge kits on ebay but its just the faces. Any help would be nice as I'm going to be putting it back together in the next few days. Thanks in advance.

Re: Busted Gauge Needles

ebay is usually the cheap place to find used clusters. just search for "01 civic cluster" or something. what cluster do you have, 01-02 civic? i had a spare set but cant find em anymore.

Re: Busted Gauge Needles

Guess I should have been a little more specific. I have a sixth gen. Can you put a 7th gen into a 6th gen? I love the clusters but don't know if its worth all of the effort. I was just thinking of going to the junkyard for another cluster but when i put my tach and speedo needles back on they were off. Gah I went through all this work to make the gauges blue and now I barely have gauges.

Re: Busted Gauge Needles

no i dont think so, the sizes are different and so are the plugs. if the needles dont go back the right way, it might be ruined already just by removing them.

Re: Busted Gauge Needles

I have one of those needles on an automatic gauge. You'd have to pry it off and put it on yours. A fork works well. PM me if you want it.
