98 civic manual trans removal help

im removing my transmission and to get the axles out i need to remove the two castle nuts on the control arms but they just spin and i cannot get them off any suggestions

do u mean the hub nuts holding the axles and hub ***. together?

i got em off i had to jack it up then use my air ratchet to get it off the ball joints were just spinning such a pain
