Question for the 6th Gen Civic pro's

I tried searching but couldn't seem to find the answer...

I have a 97 EX auto ....yep slow as **** lollll but comfy better than my tercel....

Question .... Will the 99 2000 Si engine just drop in and bolt to my existing tranny????

im pretty sure its straight forward.....

Im thingking of just going with a headswap including the ECU.....

anyone on the site aware??? or has done this???

no, b series trans wont hook up to a d series motor, and if ur gonna do a mini me headswap, check out d-series.org for the 6th gen swap, its not hard, but itll tell u what ecu u need

Pretty sure it's a P28 ECU, but that's just from reading all their posts on it, vice personal experience.

can't do a mini swap for all that stay auto n get a prelude motor (h22) n youll get like 200 horses beats the hassle. Theres a good deal on jdmenginedepot.com. G'luck
