99 EX 4 wheel disk brakes?

I bought my EX thinking it would have 4 wheel disk brakes. Much to my surprise, when I rotated the tires I discovered two drum brakes in the rear. Anybody know what I misread? Can the rears be converted to disks? TY.

I believe the discs came on the Si models. You should be able to change over to them.

Yes highbars is correct, check ebay and auto-part.com for salvage yards selling an Si rear disc swap. You will need rear spindles, rotors, calipers, parking cables, proportioning valve, etc. to do the swap.

Let us know how it goes. Detailed instructions would be good if you feel like posting it.

u can also always go with a conversion kit from a company like powerslot but the kit costs about a grand i think but it does come with all new everything and nothing that sat in a junkyard for who knows how many years. its too expensive for me so im living with drums for the time being.
