Rep Power: 0 COOLANT levels DROPPING!!
I recently bought this 96 LX civic and I thought I would baby it,, so it can last. I went to synthetic, for the past 3 week I've been using high premium gas, replaced timing belt and water pump, and replaced spark plugs.. But..
Last weekend I checked my coolant levels and it had just a touch in the reservoir but the rad was full. I filled it in between the min and max and again this morning I noticed it dropped a bit of coolant..
so wtf is the problem
thanx !!! any help please

is it leaking into your cylinders? AKA blown head gasket. check and see what color your the smoke coming out of the exhaust is. i think if its white then its coolant. check all your hoses and radiator for leaks.

Why are you using high premium gas? Do you mean high octane? If so stop using it. It's not "better" gas. Use 86 octane as recommended by Honda. High octane gas is intended for high compression engines which your stock LX is not. But I digress...
Make sure the cap on your radiator and reservoir are firmly closed. Keep checking the reservoir. Maybe the fluid was just low when you bought the car.
