Hello, I have a 97 5sp, live in florida where it's 200 deg and the ac dies after about 10-15 minutes of working great . I then turns on after about 10-15 minutes of it being off. A buddy told me it could be a sensor or switch or clogged line. I had filter debri come out of the vents a few weeks ago and need to get it checked out now unless I could fix it, might be partially related.

Not sure if anyone had a similar problem. Obviously my first move is to replace the filter that was spitting out debri from the vents. Hopefully that fixes it but I think there could be something else wrong with the ac. I don't think it would be the condensor but I could be wrong. Anyone else have intermittant ac issues?? I also for it filled with freon but it still blows hot air intermittantly...

im sorta having the same problem except my air conditioning system on my 99 honda civic Lx sedan auto doesnt work at all, nor does it blow any cold air, and i live in texas in the triple digits .
i got a K&N air filter, almost 2-3 years ago (still runs great) im just wanting my ac back.
