access to back of head unit
access to back of head unit
hey, all.
Total n00b question. I've got a Pioneer DEH-P6400 for which I just bought the CD-RB10. Is it possible to access the back of the HU without removing it? I found a guide at Install Dr. (can't post links yet, but it's worth googling for; installdr dot com; how's that ;-) that has great diagrams for removing the three lower panels and doing an install. My problem is I didn't install my Pioneer and am not sure how or if it can be removed easily. Since removing the panels seems pretty straight forward, I'm hoping to be able to reach the back of the HU that way.
Don't have the adapter yet, just gathering info.
This is in a '97 HX.
Thanks.

Umm....check out the DIYs page. Everything is there on how to remove the Head Unit. There is no easy way of doing it so GOOD LUCK!!
Just be gentle with you dash and trim pieces. They break easily if you do not talk to them nice.
