srs light reset help!
srs light reset help!
I replaced the cable reel in my 99 civic lx the horn works, but the air bag light is still on. there is three yellow plugs under the dash by the fuse panel. Just wondering which plug is the srs reset , two plugs just got a push tab for releasing it but the other one which I think is the reset won't come unplugged, just wanted to know for sure which plug it is and how it comes apart without breaking it. Thanks again

Re: srs light reset help!
MES connector is attached to the fusebox, my pic shows toward the passenger side up high on the box. Wire colors gray+gray or green+green in my diagram.
The line and arrow for connector #C914 passes over the hole where the MES is supposed to be connected.

Most of the SRS connectors have a locking collar of some sort you must pull back before the connector will release.
The MES connector is not connected to anything electrically in the fusebox, i.e. there are no terminal pins in the socket of the fusebox.
