Question Spark Plugs?

I was hoping the forum could recommend the best spark plugs for a manual transmission 2002 Civic EX. The car has 96k on it and is completely stock. I have read that some plugs do not work well in a Civic. I know that Denso and NGK are recommended, but which specifically? Links to Amazon or other retailers greatly appreciated. I'd prefer not to pay $17 per plug to buy directly from Honda.

Thank you in advance!

Re: Spark Plugs?

If your plugs are not fouled up and the gap is still right you likely still have another 90,000 miles to go on them.

Those OEM platinum plugs are really good..

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Spark Plugs?

What he said. As long as the engine isn't burning oil and fouling plugs, the originals could outlast the rest of the car without significant wear of the electrodes.

If you want to replace them just call your local parts stores and ask for a set of 4

PZFR6F-11 (NGK brand) OR

PKJ20CR-M11 (Denso brand)
