SRS reset - no yellow cable

Hi,

I have read the posts already on this common issue but unfortunately I do not seem to have a yellow cable as specified to complete this reset.

My SRS light is on as I disconnected the cable under the seat without disconnecting the battery first.

I actually had this issue before and a friend of mine was able to go under the hood and I think using a paperclip reset the SRS and remove this fault code. Not sure what he did, wish I had asked now! I can only imagine he was at the fuse box.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Did someone use it prior and not plug it back into the fuse box? It could be hanging somewhere in that general area.

Look at the fusebox in the dash, not the engine compartment.

Yes I was looking in the car. There must be another way to do it under the hood.

Thanks

There better not be.
