I started having problems with my speedometer working half the time a few weeks ago. I could drive about 60 miles and then it would suddenly work and works half the time now when first cranking up. Well not I’m getting a false neutral sometimes when I stop to put in drive or stop at a stop light. There is no noise or CEL codes. Could this be a speed sensor problem ? Thank you. I have a 04 civic ex with 125k on it and rebuilt transmission. Fluid level is clean and changed not to long ago.

Have you returned it to whomever rebuilt the trans?

No I bought the car with a rebuilt transmission. Did not have done myself.
