Hi just bought a '05 Civic Ferio ES1. Stamp on the engine says D15B. I'm from Bangladesh. It's a 1.5 liter engine for sure and ODO red-lines at 6500.
Really need to figure out what engine this is. It's my first Honda so I'm a little lost.

Engine probably has a thin green or blue VIN tag riveted to the block, on the back (oil filter side), just above the oil pan mounting surface. See if it matches the vehicles VIN plates.
If it matches, it's original to the car.
If not a match, you can probably check that VIN to discover what it came out of.
Red line on the tachometer isn't always the same as rev limited by the ECM. Wiki says it may have 7200 rpm rev limit.
