what is the best throttle body cleaner for Honda Civic 2002 DX Sedan?
Is it better to remve the throttle body kit or i just can spray on?
If i remove it, is it necessary to put new O Ring for sealing or it is not imporatant?

They are all pretty much the same IMO, as long as it's flammable.

I do them in place on the car. Jam the gas pedal down with a stick (or something) to keep the throttle wide open, then use your carb spray, an old toothbrush to scrub and a shop towel to wipe it clean. Mostly concern with getting it clean around the edges where the plate almost touches the bore when closed.

Don't spray too much into it, you can make it damn hard to start if there's puddles of cleaner inside the intake manifold.

i just have somebody hold the pedal to the floor and use a rag with a bit of gas on it....after im done i wipe it dry using a clean rag

i preferred to remove tb compelty so it clean better i think and no starting engine problem.
it mean i can buy anyone and will do the job there is no special made for Honda throttle body by honda?

Nope.
Honda doesn't make any such product.....If you ever see a can of the stuff with Hondas name on it, another company makes it and puts Hondas labels on it.


Any spray can of carburetor/choke/throttle cleaner is pretty much all the same stuff, as long as you pick a product that says it is flammable.

Stuff that's non-flammable doesn't work worth a darn for cleaning the buildup IMO.
