installation of actuator on 2004 DX coupe, Please help!

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum and I hope someone can help me with a roadblock I'm experiencing. I just recently installed a viper alarm system and I wanted to add aftermarket power door lock actuators on my 2004 DX honda civic coupe (currently manual door locks). Has anyone done this conversion using aftermarket actuators? Please help. Thank you everyone.

i haven't done it on the civic but i have on other cars. you'll have to mount the actuator inside the door panel and then attach it to the manual button. then run wires back to the brain of the viper system.

This thread has some pics of replacing a factory actuator so that might help give you some ideas of where to go.
