2001 civic shaking felt in the interior
Hello all,
Is it normal for 7th gen civics to shake on the inside when the engine is on.
I did have all four mounts replacedand new tramission as well but still shakes.
Changed spark plugs and coils.
Any other suggestions to fix the shakes.
Thank again for the help guys.

Is it just when it's idling or even when you're driving? You might want to consider cleaning the throttle body, idle air control valve and change your upstream oxygen sensor. I'm assuming your engine isn't showing a

Hey poopies,
No cel, I don't feel the shaking when driving but when I'm stopped i feel the shakes. Is the up stream o2 sensor the one on the header of the muffler body?
I was planning on cleaning the throttle body just was a good tutorial video to follow.
I clean out the egr valve a few week ago.
Thank you your tips.

I followed the steps in this DIY last weekend:

It took me about an hour to do. Yes, by upstream I mean the one connected to your header. It tells your engine to adjust the fuel/air mixture for optimum fuel burn. This can have a direct effect on how smoothly your car runs.

Is it excessive or unusual? Compare to another similar car.
I did have
all four mounts replaced
There's also a procedure called 'neutralizing' that should be done so none of the mounts are in a bind.
Any other suggestions to fix the shakes.
The engine might shake normally, but if that vibration is transmitted into the car body through hard mounts or anything else attached to the engine making contact with the body, that would not be normal......
Noises/rattles/shakes/loose parts/rusted heat shields/hood vibration/etc.?
