2002 civic timing belt tensioner hole threaded

I got screwed on this car bought it thinking.it needed a tune up .. from what the owner said and it sounded like it ... i admit i screwed up and should of realised these problems and didnt and made a mistake by buying this car anyways with further tests done at my house realised 4th cylinder was not firing so it needed a head gasket as i take off the valve cover we realise timing belt was not done and the car has 160 k on it so i winded up getting a new head ...new timing belt and new tensioner as i go to put back everything ..everything is almost done we tension the belt and try to put the tensioner back in and the bolt.doesnt tighten soon to find out after all of this work that the hole is threaded/stripped and i know i gotta put a hellicoil in except i was wondering if anyone has done this before and if theres a way to drill a hole without removing the engine ?

search the forum here, this has been discussed before.

They say that a Time-sert brand thread insert and careful work by hand can get this accomplished in the car without pulling the engine.
