Hi, Has anyone ever convert their 3rd brake light from the spoiler to the rear deck. The reason i ask is because i want to get a mugen wing and it doesnt have a brake light. I think the hardest part would be getting around the tinted part of the rear window where the brake light sits in. And i dont want to run without a 3rd brake light. 2005 civic ex special edition.

Install a Plain Jane speaker shelf and 3rd brake light housing from another car?

I'm not sure I ever noticed this, do you mean this is the black stuff kinda etched into the glass?

Yea it is like tinted out on the glass where the brake light would sit in. I have an oem spoiler so the 3rd brake light is on that.

Pull the LED strip from your original spoiler and mount it to the top of the rear glass? Hang it from the headliner?
Get another light and hang it from the headliner?
My GFs Saturn has its light up high like that.

It would be SOOO much easier to just splice a new light into your third brake light. I did it for my wing with next to no electrical expertise at all.

Well i found a mugen wing with a third brake light so i might just go with that.
