Issue W/ Gas Pedal

After stopping at a red light, whenever I press the gas pedal to go I have problems accelerating. I literally have to stop and push the pedal again a few times to accelerate and get going.

Any idea why?

Any codes? Could be engine or slipping clutch/converter.

No codes and engine light is not on.
