03 civic is high rpm

When I am going 70 in fifth gear I'm at ~3600 rpm.
Is this normal for the 2.0 k20 vtech? Would it be gear ratio??

Normal.

FYI there is no "H" in VTEC.

Re: 03 civic is high rpm

Yes my ep3 is the same because of the short gear ratio, even with a type r transmission swap the rpm will still be over 3000 when doing 70 in 6th gear
