Question Expert opinion/HELP on Rim size

I'm never going to drop below 2" when I get my Coils. This has been a tough choice and I don't know what to do. I keep hearing from different people that if I go with 16's and just dropping a little to get rid of some wheel gap, that it's going to look so ugly and weird. Is this going to be true?

Do I go with 17's because I'm NOT slamming my car like others? Just need some expert help on this issue before I order my wheels next month.

Thank you all so much and look forward to all responses.

Looking weird is a matter of opinion. Did you look through the members rides and post your ride threads? Wheel thread also.

Ive seen Civics with 18s, 17s and 16s and 17s look best. Plus some people say it looks like a 4wd when not lowered. Id say lower 1" with coils.

Yeah. I just don't want to still look like a 4x4 when i lower a little with 16s. And with the 17s, the offset is 45 so i won't rub or hit over bumps I don't think. Dont want to roll fenders and **** like that.

i prefer 16s but i think the main issue would be the rim style not size.

You already know my response to this Allen,
Just get the 17's, D2/F&F coils, and be done with it. Lol

Re: Expert opinion/HELP on Rim size

Nice. I didn't think an inch would even make a difference but dsmn you lost a lot of wheel gap.
