Poly or oem bushings

Ok I need some better input on poly bushings. I want to get them on my em2. Not many reviews from Honda owners. Right now my baby is basically stock aside from exterior mods. Anyone have poly bushings in the front? Should I stick with oem. I know muegen makes hard rubber ones but I don't have the bills for them.

Re: Poly or oem bushings

Energy Suspension poly bushings are the way to go. They are inexpensive, will last longer then rubber and will provide better steering response since they will be stiffer.

Those are the ones I was looking at. Only debate I'm having is will they cause more problems. They stiffen up the ride will that put stress on my suspension to move and will I hear a lot of noise after the break in period? It's not cool when your rolling up and ur car squeaks plus I don't want to hear it heard the clunking enough from them being bad on my car for so long.

Re: Poly or oem bushings

As far as feel and longevity my energy bushings are great. BUT drill the control arms and put some grease zerks in while the arms are off putting them in. The bushings work great, but until the grease fittings it sounded like a log truck. They are way noisier than I expected every bump in the road makes it squeak.

Re: Poly or oem bushings

Energy suspension bushing are alright, but over time they loose there shape and don't re-form. and always tighten the bolts for the suspension and chassis bushing with the car sitting on the ground.

Hardrace also makes hard rubber bushing at wayyyy less than Mugen
