Unhappy front drive shaft spinning

ok this may be a dumb thing to ask but here it goes. I just re-installed engine/transmission after engine swap and went to install passenger axle (fwd drive shaft) and noticed that after installing I can spin it even in park. Is this normal? I was thinking the wheels do not spin unless in Neutral. I dont won't to continue with other side until I get an answer. New to this forum .. Thanks ahead of time for any help..
