Aftermarket radio problem
Aftermarket radio problem
Hello everyone, just installed my Kenwood DDX418 on my car. The wires are connected right, the units works just fine, it plays CDs, Bluetooth is working as well, except there is no sound coming out of the speakers. Any ideas ??
Re: Aftermarket radio problem
Is the unit new?
You could always try hooking up a test speaker to it and making sure it plays, if not, it could be the internal amp is burnt out.
If you don't have a test speaker, you can go to the trunk where the rear speakers are exposed and unplug it and tap into the speaker there. (Of course, you'll need a long length of wire)
Again, if it doesn't work it's the internal amp, if it DOES, it has to be a wiring problem somewhere, or a problem with the built-in amp in the car.
Hope this helps!

Re: Aftermarket radio problem
the problem was from the unit itself. my original radio works just fine with sound and all. thanks for your help though.
