short shifter question

I have a 04 si and am looking to get a short whiter for it, what would you recommend for it? I am looking to spend $100 or less if that can get me something that won't be junk

Re: short shifter question

Shop around they sell an adapter kit - if an actual retrofit kit/ complete kit is out of the question

Just a word of caution - the stock shifter housing and bushings are plastic - they won't take much abuse

Maybe give some thought to upgrading the bushings as well - although that still won't help the housing durability

=============

Another possibility would be to buy a short shifter off ebay then cut the shaft to the desired length and retap the threads for your shift **** - you'd get the longer throw that way
