Headlight Shut off

2001 Civic that the headlights shut off by itself. Only correlation thus far is the high beam was used in both instances and then switched to low beam. Lights cut off and then come back on.

Any thoughts?

there was a massive recall for failing low beam headlights call your local honda dealer for more info and fix. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/...light-failure/
it only took them 10 years lol it says 02-03 but it sounds to me the problem your having so get it checked out.
