2002 civic blower problem?

I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX, everytime I turn the blower on (not the A/C, as my A/C doesn't work) it won't turn on. It just makes this somewhat grinding noise. However, it will suddenly cut on everytime I hit a bump, It'll also turn back off after hitting another. I've been reading around and saw a few people with the same problem. Their solution was a bad blower motor. If it is the blower motor, where exactly will it be located, and is there a chance it may be something else?

TL;DR: blower turns on and off after hitting bump. Solution?

Thanks a million guys

Put a fan motor in it.

Actually, instead of using bumps in the road for diagnosis, locate the bottom of the motor and tap on it (smack it) with the palm of your hand. You should get the exact same on/off effect. Bad motor.
