ill give you some tips.
use the search button before you post a thread or ask a question. chances are it has been asked 100000000x already.
then if u still have a question (like something specific) then go ahead and ask.
it just gets annoying to see an pointless "engine swap" thread when there are so many that has so much good info......or a stupid "i want to make my car faster with an intake" thread.......

You haven't made a fool of yourself, you've done what essentially every noobie does.
Just understand, a couple times a week we hear the same questions about engine swaps and intakes and we don't really have the patience to answer them over and over. If you search, you'll usually find all the basic answers very quickly.
