Re: Show me your skirts!!
Looks good!
I ended up getting those "Type-A", I think they look best. To go with Mugen front lip for my '05 coupe.
Was thinking Type-R but Mugen makes it look more low.
I'm all ready 22" from fender to ground, so every little bit helps.

Re: Show me your skirts!!
Not really, I'd do 21" but I all ready have ramps to get into my driveway and still scraping, not going to street park it, and I work in construction and currently driving my car to site because it's closer than meeting at the shop.
Re: Show me your skirts!!
Yea that's exactly why I don't really wanna go much lower than I already am...its a dd so I'm too worried about the shitty Barrie roads to drop it more...still, 22" is impressive for an em2...not many on the site riding that low, that's for sure. That other dude you were talking about was at something close to 21" and the frame was pretty much on the ground lol

Re: Show me your skirts!!
LOL I drove to Barrie on the weekend.
Think I was on Dunlop, the roads scared me so I turned around and came back home..No joke..LMAO
I took the fender liners out.
Was getting ready to sand/paint a mugen front lip (which will put my front end like 2" from the road, if not less)
But realized there was a crack in it, so need to pick anther one up in the city..Arg.
Car seems high, until I can install front lip and sides..heh

Ah man, can't find anyone who can ship me Type-A skirts until June!!
WTF, who has them to sell me?
Taken today at work...LOL
At least the roads are paved in this sub-division.

Re: Show me your skirts!!
Found someone local with the Type-A sides. Picking up tomorrow.
I might not do lip. Since it would be pretty low and ABS plastic would not survive very long. Need to look at options.

Re: Show me your skirts!!
Haha yea some of the roads a prettyy sketchy up here...I'm up in Huntsville for the weekend and the roads here are even worse...i'm now down to 24-1/2" in the front and I cant'/wont go any lower for 3 reasons:
1 - the adjustment sleeve on the GC's is pretty much bottomed out on the stock spring mount which I don't feel like cutting off.
2 - My damn tires are way too big lol
3 - I'm scared enough as it is driving through town at this height.
The rear doesn't have coils yet cause of seized lower shock bolts that need to be cut off and replaced, so it's still at stock height.
And now, for some reason, my car decided to start rattling from the front driver's side and I have absolutely no idea where it's coming from
Also, I have to agree that finding the skirts we want, in stock around here is a pain...I got pretty lucky in finding mine...thankfully the type-r lip is common and cheap...I can only imagine how badly a front lip would get chewed up that close to the ground driving to construction sites and so on. I just wish my paint was as clean as yours...my bumpers are gonna get painted but that's it, and the car is covered in little scratches and dents from idiots abusing my car

Re: Show me your skirts!!
I hear you on those rear lower strut bolts. Took me forever to get the factory ones out. Need penetrating oil, heat and a long breaker bar.
Best is to get replacement ones from Honda and usually the rear upper knuckle to lateral arm bolt gets pretty bad too. Replace with new ones and use anti-seize (I use copper). Makes it so easy when it comes to taking suspension out before winter, and after winter too especially.
I think if you can get the rears on, it would look good. You can virtually go as low as you want in the back with no problems and a camber kit. With the exception of fender/tire clearance.

Re: Show me your skirts!!
Yea I had a mechanic friend put it on a hoist and reef on them with a breaker bar and a torch for an hour and neither came loose...just gonna get new bolts and cut the old ones out...I've already got megan rear camber arms installed so as soon as I get those damn bolts out I"ll be good to go finally, although tire clearance may be a slight issue with 225 width tires :S
You car is looking pretty sweet tho...the mugen lip makes it look so low...

Was going to pick-up a replacement Mugen lip but poly as well, but gonna pass for now, since I have literally that much clearance as shown, and I all ready need to be careful enough driving.
Once I paint and install my sides, I'm going to buy the poly lip and just install it unpainted ans see how long it lasts..LOL See if it's paint worthy.
Tell you what, it looks DIRTY for sure being only an inch from the ground. Just don't know how long it would last installed.
