2002 Honda Civic LX, 111,000 miles, shoudl I buy?
I plan on purchasing a 2002 Honda Civic LX with 111,000 miles. How much should I pay and are there any nightmares I should know about? Thanks for your help!

The nightmare would be an automatic transmission if it has one. The pricing depends A LOT on where you live. I live in Wisconsin and what is a good price here is thousands more than what a good price is down south.

Yes if it has a auto tranny be careful. if you get it from a dealership ask about an extra warrenty. I bought my 02 ex with 120k miles from a dealer and got an extra 2 year 24k mile warranty with it and paid like $6900. the warranty came in handy for me when my auto tranny went out.

From what I've been reading and hearing, the Auto Tranny always seems to be the problem or the one you should be worry about.
Good thing mine hasn't given up yet, but it's close. 154K. Lol.
