Compared to when you see it around newer cars of all other makes? Whats your general consensus on the 7th gen and how its maintaining its look 7 years later. Do you still think it looks fairly modern and in style? You think most people would be able to tell its a 7+ yr old series of cars by just looking at it?

I think the body design from the 01-03 is looking pretty old. The 04-05 is keeping up nicely, but still noticeably older

7th gen isnt old at all, it looks very "up to date" The em1s look slightly old but the Em2 still look fresh. Its the body style and the lights that keeps it looking like its still a recent car.

Re: Do you think the 7th gen civics look old?

7th gens look amazing, then they went to 8th and everything after that looks like a spaceship, inside and out. Some people wonder why we put money into just a "civic" bur for me I really love the look and style of the car, there isnt any other cars for around the same price that I even like the looks of, so for me its worth while putting money into a car I enjoy the looks of.

+1 on that. All new cars have fancy crap that's just annoying... like traction control .

lol got that right, almost like car companys are trying too hard to impress and they forget to just make a decent looking not too complicated car.

You can turn it off before driving

What I don't like about my 04 is the engine. They should have had better engine. That's all I would ask ei ei.

Actually some you can't. On my mom's Prius there is no way to turn it off if I'm not mistaken.

It looks small and blocky. The color schemes are extremely outdated. sure I'm positive people know it is an older car. however, with that said, I think it is important to remember that the civic has always been small and blocky and I'm certain the majority of us like that effect. Color can always be changed and body kits can be found in the thousands. When my car is around newer models I dont think about its age or interpratation in regards to style. Because I got an original motor with less than 95,000 miles in a 7 year old car. It is in what i can concider near mint condition if it were not for the modifications, which are slight.
