Hi, I saw Magnaflow header with high flow cat built together on http://www.procivic.com/pages-produc...827/index.html and I'm wonder if anyone's had any experience with them. If so, could someone please tell me if they would pass emission tests or if they're street legal?

I'm sure they will probably add little to no power gains but however my exhaust manifold needs to be replaced anyways so I figured I may as well get headers but i dont want to have to use a defouler or anything.

PS: Also tried searching the forum but i couldn't find anything on this specific product.

Anytime you use a "high-flow" or a cheap aftermarket cat you run the risk of not passing emissions.

yeah after market cats are hit or miss so you mite end up using the defouler regardless in order to pass emissions which is very easy since there is no sniffer just obd. if your set indefinitely on a cat then get just a swap on a EX exhaust you can even get a after market EX header and downpipe and use the stock ex cat which is alot cheaper because its not in the manifold also alot easier to replace or repair.

Wait.... so does that mean it can actually pass emission? Despite requiring a defouler to fool the car in thinking that it's clean air flowing through?

as long as your check engine light is off you should pass emissions where im from they hook up the obd to the computer for 30 seconds and im done no sniffer. i have no cat and i have passed emissions twice already using a defouler or 02 simulator megan brand.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........... Has any dx/lx owners tried using these magnaflow headers with high flow cat before?

If so, did anyone cry after getting them?
