I got my brand new OEM ebrake cables put in just now. Now I just need to readjust the bolt in the centre console but want to make sure im doing it right first. When I spun the wheels with the back end up and the ebrake on full the back tires would still move if i put some force into it. But remember i have my rear shoes on mid tightness or a bit less as when i put the new shoes in i backed them off all the way on the auto adjustors and did the R + firm brake a few times to seat them. Im not sure how many times you need to do this but i did it about 10 times. I could go tighter but im worried itll start dragging so i dont wanna risk it.

1) How do i make it so when the ebrake is on max, the back wheels wont move at all? Tighten the bolt in the centre console?
2) How do i tell how tight i need to make the bolt inside the console without causing the shoes to drag?
3) I was told the ebrake should go up anywhere from 7-8 clicks, no more no less is that true?
4) Do I tighten the bolt with the ebrake on or off or does it even matter?

1. Make it as loose as possible then tighten the adjusters on the rear brakes. That way you have the max adjustment possible on the console adjuster.
2. The is no tighten this much etc. Tighten it until you get 7 or 8 clicks to engage it.
3. Adjust it with the brake off, once its tight you won't be able to adjust it.
