This only happens when the AC is on max or high, and only when I make a left turn. There is a sort of gurgling noise, and the AC stops blowing out air. Any ideas what may be going on?

ur compressor/compressor clutch is prob seizing up or your belt is slipping.

when was the last time changed ur PS and compressor belt?

no. AC is totally unrelated to oil changes.

most the time they prob dont even know what they're looking at.

Is it like a high squealing belt noise? My 02 EX was doing that, whenever AC is on. It was the compressor, its totally shot, so I have it disconnected electrically, meaning no AC, til I can find a new one to put in

Make sure that when the A/C system is running that you have clear water dripping under the car. (drain from evaporator)

when u hear a high squealing, it means ur belts are slipping, not necessarily the compressor.


there is a spray u can spray on ur belt to clean it and increase its tackiness/non-slipage

you can find that can of belt conditioner at any autostore, walmart, autozone, napa...etc

Thats what we originally thought, it was a belt issue. But no matter what we tried, the noise was still there, only when the AC was on. Ever since we disconnected the compressor there hasn't been any noise since. I dont really get it mysef haha

The clutch or compressor locks up when energized. Making the belt slip/rub it's way around the pulley. That's why it sounds like the belt slipping- cause it is.
