automatic air intake on manual

Hey there guys. My buddy just bought a CAI for his 7th gen civ and when I went over to install it for him it said on the box it was a intake made for the automatic civic only. Now I looked at the intake looks like the same setup that I have and I was wondering if this was going to do anything to his manual civic if it was installed which I highly doubt. As far as i'm concerned intake is just a peice of pipe with a large filter on the end.

It's just shaped differently to clear the automatic transmission, nothing to worry about.

there are no cold air intakes made for autos that i know about, so you prolly got a short ram. manual cai will not fit auto. short rams will fit any 01-05 civic.
